Back to bowling!!

Well,
It's been a bloody long time since I was out from bowling, due to injuries and I thought my bowling life was gone forever

However, recently one of my dear friend ignited the fire in me again and I was recruited as a "hired gun" for his league team

So went to tried a few warm ups to see if my bowling is still there.

But more than 18minths of absence from bowling really took it's toll on me.

Both my vise and turbo changeable slugs were so loose that it was practically un-bowlable in my part, thumb keeps dropping prematurely.

Took a video and found out that my timing is still not there but quite close but the dropping of the ball is the main issue, despite putting on magic carpet with tons of tape as backing in an effort to shrink the thumb size, but to no avail.

So went to look for the vise guy but in the end the pro shop closed down (so now I gotta find a way to get my replacements for the vise it...stupid right?I mean that guy used to have as many as 3 pro shops at one time but now??and I have got like over 30 balls with vise and now they are lying there doing nothing)

Luckily for me the turbo guy is still around, went to him to drilled up a storm natural pearl, with new thumb slugs (stupid thumb shrank by more than 2sizes)

Went to bowl, but felt the strain on the injury part of my arm.

Went home slept on it and went back to my pro shop guy and told him to give me a brand new set of pitching and Span.

Few days later bowled another two games, not bad for a guy with a lay off of 18months still can managed to bowl a 160average,of course my main aim is for the arm to get used to the swing and works of bowling and to see if I still have it.

Felt comfy with the new specs, punched up another storm tropical storm

To be continued....
